Open Arms Community Support Hubs

The cost of living crisis is affecting everyone in different ways so to tackle this crisis, the UK Prosperity Fund has allocated funding to Rotherham Council, to get the support to the areas that really need it, the community support hubs are available to all.

LASER Credit Union is out in the community working in partnership with Rotherfed, Citizens Advice Bureau and VAR, to deliver the people of Rotherham the support that they need but don’t know where to ask for it. Do you need advice for the following:

LASER AGM to be held on zoom on Wednesday 22nd March at 1.30 pm

The AGM is in respect of our financial year 21/22 and will be held on zoom. We will provide you with the relevant information, the opportunity to vote on the accounts, the election of officers, and the appointment of external auditors and to ask questions.

Increase of Interest Rate – Premier Deposit and Premier Savings Accounts

INCREASE OF INTEREST RATE FROM 1% TO 1.75 %

PREMIER DEPOSIT ACCOUNT AND PREMIER SAVINGS ACCOUNT

Following a review of the interest rates we pay, with effect from 1st August 2022, we have increased the interest rate payable on the Premier Deposit Account and Premier Savings Account by 0.75% from 1.00% to 1.75%.

Savings products, investment and interest rates are reviewed regularly and we believe that the interest rates remain good value. We appreciate you saving with us and hope that you will continue to support the growth of LASER Credit Union. Your savings continue to be safe and protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

To check to see if you have received a payment please check your balance and transactions via the mobile app.

Premier Deposit – Increase of interest rate

PREMIER DEPOSIT SAVINGS ACCOUNT – INTEREST RATE INCREASE TO 1.00%

Following a review of the interest rates we pay, with effect from 1st May 2022 we have increased the interest rate payable on the Premier Deposit Account by 0.25% from 0.75% to 1.00%.

The Premier Savings Account interest rate remains the same at 1.00%.

COVID-19 UPDATE – 19th July 2021

From 19th July 2021 the Government will ease restrictions and has said that it is up to individuals and businesses as to how they manage the virus. Public Health advice, and the view of Government’s scientific advisors, is that the pandemic is not over and that it is inadvisable to abandon all precautions. LASER’s message to members is therefore that we will continue to operate as we have done throughout the pandemic. Rates of covid-19 are rising and therefore we are continuing to ask you to limit your visits to our office. Notification of Change of Interest Rates

INTEREST RATE CHANGES FROM 1ST AUGUST 2021

Following a review of the interest rates we pay, we are writing to give you advance notice that on 1st August 2021 we will be reducing the interest rate payable on the Premier Deposit Account by 0.25% from 1.00% to 0.75%.

On the same date, we will reduce the interest rate on the Premier Savings Account by 0.25% from 1.25% to 1.00%.
