We will assess your application for affordability based on the information you provide and a credit history report.
The amount of the loan that we can offer you and the interest rate we charge you will depend on your personal circumstances, ability to repay and the level of your savings held with us.
We aim to advise you of our decision as soon as we can.
If we need any further information from you to make our decision, we will advise you of this straight away.
You will need to provide us with proof of your income, before your loan can be granted. We will need to see proof of 2 months income in the last 3 months. Please note: Your income must be over £100 per week, to be eligible to apply for a loan from us.
Once the loan has been granted, if it is based on the level of your savings, you will not be allowed to withdraw your savings until the value of the outstanding loan is below £1,000.
When the loan has been approved, you will need to read and sign the loan agreement form, before the funds can be made available to you.
You can choose how to receive the funds. We normally pay the money in to your bank account, if you have provided these details on your application form, or load it on to your Prepaid Visa Debit Card. We also offer a cheque cashing facility at the Co-operative Bank on Bridgegate, Rotherham, which attracts a charge of £3. Alternatively, if your loan amount is £150 or less, you may withdraw the cash at our office counter.
If your loan application is refused, we will advise you of the reason. Should your circumstances change, you are welcome to apply again after 3 months. You have the right to appeal in writing.
